Egypt Mission Day 2!

3:53 am
Randy looks kinda like this picture of Jesus I saw once...it's kinda funny looking at it.
We are now all talking about freaky plays and books "Beware the ides of March!" and now I'm reading my Bible.
I just looked over at Randy. He fell asleep..goodness.
4:56 am
I connected the flip camera that KGET (local news station) gave us to film footage for them into the computer. Now I'm eating beef jerky and filming videos.
At the airport!
Breakfast at last! Take off today! We spent an hour checking through baggage. We're finally sitting in the waiting place. Randy just got off the phone with his son, Seth. Now we're all talking about food. We're always discussing something, huh? I guess it's just a great way to pass time. I am getting really hungry. And I'm going to be on that plane for 16 1/2 hours. As my stomach punishes me for not feeding it, I start looking for Dr. Samarrai. OH MY GOODNESS! I can't wait to see him again! But I can't focus on that because I am insanely hungry...
Don't Know What Time..from seat 33 A,B,C.
Time? I don't know...Where? I dont know... I think we're over Tulsa, OK right now. My mom and I just watched "My Sister's Keeper" on the plane. It was a great book so we watched the movie. My mom sat there and cried...a lot. But it was an amazing movie.
I'm still really excited. :)
It's late at night now and I'm getting really tired. I'm just so anxious to go meet the people and see them in person.
Now flying over Missouri...I need sleep.
From seat 33
So there's like a T.V. on the seats and it has music. So I went to "Musicals" and typed in "Wicked." Guess what? They have it!!! Oh happy day! (or night?) Wicked is amazing.
Day Two..Still seat 33
Well, I think it's day 2. But how should I know? We are in New York. It's really cool. W just go on the Cairo plane., My mom and Randy are talking and I'm just sitting here writing. Thank you Lord for iPods. I have a window seat and I can see New York's pretty lights. I've spent 5 1/2 hours so foar on planes. Now I have 12 more to go. Oh well! The mission is going to be great. There's actually alot of Muslim and Arabic families on this plane because we're going to Egypt. I'm listening carefully to try and pick up on some Arabic. They have beautiful accents! I still can't believe Im here thogh. Even though I have this journal as proof that it's reallly happening. There's so many things..thoughts, feelings, memories that I won't be able to record in this journal. Which is sad. I wish I could.
Right now I'm waiting for take-off. That's one more thing to look forward to. Besides changing lives!!!!
Day 2? (jetlag..it's killer)
It's 11 something NY time. We've taken off andI'm SO tire. I haven't slept in 15 hours- SO FAR. But when we land in Cairo it'll be 4:45 pm..TOMORROW!
I really need to stop staying awake. Now they're making us fill out Swine Flu cards on the plane. boo. Pretty soon, they're going to bring out FOOD!
HIP HIP HURRAY FOR FOOD!!!
Still listening to iPod.
